Auburn Research Park
OVERVIEW OF THE RESEARCH PARK
On 156 acres, the Auburn Research Park is the south gateway to the Auburn University
campus in Auburn, Alabama. The result of a partnership between the State of Alabama,
City of Auburn, and Auburn University, the vision for the research park is that
over the next 10-12 years it will develop into a mixed-use, entrepreneurial research
and business campus focusing on technology/knowledge-based businesses, research
centers, and university research facilities in approximately 15 buildings totaling
750,000 to 1,000,000 square feet. In addition, support businesses such as law and
accounting firms, bank (branch), hotel, restaurant and/or coffee shop, etc. will
locate in the park. In addition to the landscaping at the park entrance and around
buildings, the park will be further developed into an esthetically beautiful campus
taking advantage of the existing lakes and forests.
